Pastor Andrew Shields was appointed to serve as First Baptist Church's Senior Pastor in November 2018. Prior to that, he served as Pastor of West Springfield Baptist Church in West Spring, PA from 2005-2018.

The attributes that best describe Pastor Andrew as a pastor are strong preaching, leadership development, and pastoral care. He has expressed a burning desire to lead a church like First Baptist Church where biblical views are embraced and encouraged, with members who care about the needs of those around them and who want to connect others to the body of Christ.

He graduated from Wheaton College in 1997 with a B.A. degree and Northern Baptist Theological Seminary in Lombard, IL with a degree in M.DIV in 2000.

Pastor Andrew has been happily married for 15 years to his wife, Stephanie. They have 2 children: Olivia & Emma.

Laura is an asset to our team and does a wonderful job of keeping our programs up and running. She has a love for music and is very talented in her field. She and her husband have an amazing daughter and two ornery dogs. It is not EZ to keep our worship team in rhythm.

In 2025, Laura brought her talents to the office, serving as our Administrative Assistant. 

John has been with us for many years and is considered a professional in his field. He has been responsible for many years for making our church look great.  

Ms. Jackee has been around for a long time. She is not only our CE Director, but she is also part of our daycare staff. She was the daycare cook and used to push her cart throughout the building to serve the children healthy meals. She always wears a smile, and we are very blessed to have her as part of our staff.
